I have recently been snatching some time to work on a personal project with Magda from Snip and Sip. We created a series of stereographic portraits of some of Magda’s clients for Project Summerhall an exhibition at Summerhall until the 18th of March 2018.
Any Back to the Future fans out there will, of course, know about the DeLorean car and its time-travelling fame from the classic 80’s film. But not many people know about the brand’s origins and role in Northern Ireland’s history. This year in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Freedom Picture Company have decided to honour that story, in DeLorean.
I’ve been back taking photos of the Edinburgh Art Festival. This time, at one of my favourite venues, Jupiter Artland. I went along to the opening day of their three exhibitions for the festival;

One of the many brilliant festivals that happens in August in Edinburgh, is the Art Festival. This year, I was invited to photograph the opening event, “By leaves we live…not the jingling of our coins…” by Zoë Walker and Neil Bromwich.

Luminous Creative are small but perfectly formed design consultancy based in Edinburgh. I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with them on several projects over the past few years – for clients like ASDA, Mara Seaweed, Zeneth and others. For our most recent collaboration, however, they were the client. They were in the process of updating their website and called me to take some new headshots of the team and website images, which of course, I was delighted to do.

After taking photos of their new ten galleries back in summer 2016 (see blog post here), I’ve been back at the ever-brilliant National Museum of Scotland. This time, the brief was to get some images which gave a general flavour of a trip to the museum, for visitors to Edinburgh who maybe hadn’t been there before.

It barely seems a year since my photoshoot for Will Pickvance’s festival show, Pianomorphosis, but a year it has been. In that time, Will’s become a father for the first time, toured his show to Asia, and devised the next show in his series – Pianologues. And I was delighted to be asked back by Will to create an image for that new show.

For the past couple of months, I have been to more restaurants than I usually visit in a year. Unfortunately, I’ve not actually eaten at all of them (most of them, though). Instead, I’ve been working with Uber, who launched their food delivery service in Scotland recently. The app, called UberEATS, will allow users to order from over 100 outlets, and get food delivered straight to them.

Lung Ha Theatre Company is an organisation that I’ve admired for a long time. They’re a professional theatre company, made up of performers with a variety of learning disabilities. They create award-winning productions, are respected as professionals within their industry, and collaborate with some excellent creative partners.

BCF Technologies provide professional scanning equipment for veterinary use, and recently I was brought on board to take photos for a new promotional campaign. Their latest products use WiFi technology to allow handheld scanning equipment to be more portable.
