Its always good to see your work being used finally, you take the pictures and it can be a year until you finally see the results. Last year I worked with Philosophy Design who re-branded construction consultants Stace. The brief was to help them look more people orientated, I rushed madly about the country, here are some of the results:
Recently I was documenting the Edinburgh International Storytelling Festival and took a series of portraits of the storytellers and musicians when ever I could and here is the result, I think that it will boil down to be a really good set.
My friend Alice Myers has an exhibition at the Film House in Edinburgh which is worth checking out if your in town.

Over the past couple of years I have worked with Innis & Gunn creating a library of images for their website which has just gone live created by the masterful Dog Digital
I did a three day shoot for Macintosh with Denvir Marketing art directed by Phil Sanderson, here are some images from the shoot and the results what I particularly like is the light boat which Chris wielded round the loch with finesse whilst I was slugging round the mud tit high in water! All images shot with just two Profotos and a California sunbounce on location.
We did a food shoot for Scottish Shellfish last Friday, working with Sean Stewart their development manager and Phil Sanderson of Denvir. Chris did some shots of the shoot which we did at the magic 3/3 studios.
The other day I went to photograph the launch of the Edinburgh Story Telling festival for them, we had an amazing trip over to Inchcolm island where the cultral minister Fiona Hyslop launched the festival. On the way back I had to push the camera and so have turned the images into black and white which I actually quite like, I don’t know what they will print like.
I have not added anything to my blog for far too long, NOT that I have not done anything interesting in the mean time! One of the things that I have worked on recently was a shoot with Totty Rocks in a crazy flat, we worked with Lily who was on her first shoot.
I was in London the other day and on the way back the low cloud over London made it look like the Blade Runner set, and then at city airport they conveniently had envelopes so that you could post back your explosives if you needed too.
These images of Rowan and Skip walking along the pavement into the setting sun remind me of the Chemical Brothers album cover.
