Starry night in Mull

March 26th, 2012

I have just been on Mull for work, I managed to get some time to work on a project that been on my mind for wee while. At the end of my shoot I left the camera up for an extra hour to see what I got from the stars. I think that the bright stripe is either Jupiter or Venus, there was no moon which was good for this image.

Edinburgh International Story Telling Festival Launch

September 12th, 2011

The other day I went to photograph the launch of the Edinburgh Story Telling festival for them, we had an amazing trip over to Inchcolm island where the cultral minister Fiona Hyslop launched the festival. On the way back I had to push the camera and so have turned the images into black and white which I actually quite like, I don’t know what they will print like.

London looking very Blade Runner-esk

December 10th, 2009

I was in London the other day and on the way back the low cloud over London made it look like the Blade Runner set, and then at city airport they conveniently had envelopes so that you could post back your explosives if you needed too.

Haar Over Edinburgh :: Armageddon

March 23rd, 2009

Most mornings I walk my dog up on Blackford Hill, Edinburgh, last Thursday morning I started off in thick fog from a haar and ended up on top of the clouds with amazing views of Arthur’s Seat and Marchmont. It was like armageddon with rolling wisps of cloud suddenly cutting off your sight.
